The importance of neurodiversity in the workplace is gaining recognition, yet many organisations still struggle to provide truly inclusive environments for neurodivergent people. This workshop is an opportunity to dive into practical tools and strategies that can support neurodivergent team members across the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment to retention.
In this practical workshop Catherine Lee, founder and director of the Neurodiverse Safe Work Initiative (NDSW), will guide participants through the application of the NDSW Self-Assessment Tool. This tool is designed to help organisations evaluate their current practices and strategically improve leadership approaches, ultimately fostering a neuro-inclusive workplace culture that benefits all employees.
Together, we’ll explore how to:
Understand and implement the Neurodiverse Safe Work Initiative (NDSW) Self-Assessment Tool to evaluate organizational practices and identify opportunities for improvement
Discuss strategies to ensure that neurodivergent employees are supported throughout the employee lifecycle—from attraction and recruitment, to onboarding, career development, and retention
Share practical approaches to creating a safe and inclusive environment that enables neurodiverse employees to thrive, while simultaneously enhancing organisational performance and safety
Expect practical insights, interactive discussions, and concrete takeaways that you can immediately apply to your workplace. You will leave the session with a better understanding of how to leverage neuro-inclusive tools to drive positive change for neurodivergent employees and influence leadership to prioritise inclusion.
This session is for: HR leaders, Diversity and Inclusion practitioners, Occupational Health and Safety professionals, ERG members, managers involved in employee lifecycle management or neurodiversity programs, or anyone interested in learning more on this topic.
