Recognising and Rewarding Employee Networks for Sustainable Impact

Employee and resource networks play a vital role in driving inclusion, engagement, and culture change—but sustaining their energy and impact over time takes more than passion.

Join us for an interactive workshop exploring how Diversity and Inclusion practitioners can best support and recognise employee networks to help them thrive. Together, we’ll unpack what meaningful recognition looks like—from career development opportunities and visibility, to tangible rewards and organisational sponsorship—and how to balance fairness, impact, and sustainability.

This discussion will include insights from Malcolm Barter, Senior Manager People Networks at PwC Australia, and Tash Lavelle, Indigenous Workforce Engagement Business Partner at GHD.

What you’ll gain:

  • Practical insights for designing engagement, recognition and reward approaches that fit your organisation’s maturity and resources

  • Considerations to articulate the ROI of networks and make the case for sustained investment

  • The opportunity to engage with other practitioners on recognition ideas for all levels of network engagement

Who should attend: Diversity & Inclusion practitioners, HR professionals, and ERG executive sponsors.
When: Friday 28 November 2025, 2pm - 3:45pm (includes the Diversity Practitioners Association's Annual General Meeting at 3:15pm)
