Dr Juliet Bourke on Interpersonal Inclusion

The Diversity Practitioners Association is proud to present Dr Juliet Bourke for an interactive exploration of her PhD research on interpersonal inclusion between colleagues: the small behaviours that foster individual performance in project teams.

While much has been said about the potential of diversity and inclusion to drive business results, and the criticality of inclusive leadership, there’s been little exploration of the dynamics between coworkers in driving inclusion and performance… until now.

Juliet’s research examines the nature of inclusion between peers in workplace teams revealing:

  • the three small behaviours that characterise interpersonal inclusion

  • the impact of interpersonal inclusion/exclusion and diversity

  • a deeper understanding of the relationship between interpersonal inclusion/exclusion and job performance

This virtual event is a unique opportunity for leaders and advocates to deepen their understanding of leading-edge inclusion research. As one of Australia’s preeminent DEI experts, we’ll also seek Juliet’s reflections and advice for practitioners.

Free for DPA members (sign in with your membership details) & $20 for non-members. The DPA welcomes new members to join online and enjoy the benefits of DPA membership immediately.

Note: Zoom details for this event will be sent to registered attendees 24 hours prior to the event.
